Description
Because brain examination is often performed by the Neuropathology service several weeks after the postmortem, anatomical and general pathologists may have limited experience examining brains independently. This session is designed to offer a hands on step by step guide. After this demonstration, do attempt this in the privacy of your own autopsy suite!

- Demonstrate the examination of the external and sectioned brain.
- Delineate the method of blocking the sectioned brain.
