    Dr. Rita Selby

    Dr. Rita Selby is the Medical Director of the Coagulation Laboratories at the University Health Network and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, both academic teaching hospitals fully affiliated with the University of Toronto. These coagulation laboratories provide special coagulation testing for the two hospitals, several GTA hospitals, one major commercial laboratory and also provide medical directorship to several Northern Ontario cluster hospitals through a partnership with the University Health Network.

    She is a consultant hematologist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre specializing in thrombosis and hemostasis and an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto.

    She has a Masters in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Toronto and her research interests include coagulation laboratory quality assurance and clinical trials in thrombosis.
