Dr Henrike Rees received her Medical Degree at the University of Muenster in Germany. She moved to Canada and taught Anatomy at the University of Saskatchewan and spent her internship in Regina, Saskatchewan. She completed her Anatomical Pathology residency at the University of Saskatchewan and pursued a fellowship in Neuropathology and Forensic pathology in Vancouver before returning to Saskatoon. Initially she worked as Anatomical Pathologist in the Department of Pathology at the Royal University Hospital and then moved to Saskatoon City Hospital, where her clinical interests include breast pathology, cytopathology, quality assurance and global pathology. She was a Royal College Examiner in Anatomical pathology for 7 years and a member of the Anatomical Pathology Specialty committee for six years. She is a member of the CAP Section on Humanities and International Health, the CAP-ACP National Specialty Network on the Environment and the Workload and Human Resource committee.
