This session will provide a brief review of thoracic pathology, including neoplastic and non-neoplastic lung pathology, and neoplastic pleural and mediastinal pathology.
At the end of the sessions, participants will be able to:
- Differentiate the common subtypes of lung carcinomas according to the 2021 WHO classification.
- Identify the most common types of interstitial lung disease.
- Have an approach to diagnosing suspicious pleural lesions.
- Discuss the differential diagnosis of anterior mediastinal tumors
